Nicholas Vidal is the Principal AI Engineer at HRMLESS. He helps turn emerging AI capabilities into secure, practical systems that support the platform’s hiring workflows, technical infrastructure, and responsible AI program.

Nick got his start in technology during a 20-year career in the U.S. Air Force, working across cyber operations, network defense, vulnerability management, and IT program leadership. He finished his military career as a Senior Enlisted Leader responsible for guiding a large cyber and communications organization supporting special operations.

After retiring from the Air Force, Nick brought that experience to HRMLESS, where his work expanded beyond cybersecurity into AI engineering, automation, infrastructure, and product development. He has helped connect AI services, APIs, identity systems, cloud infrastructure, and internal tools into solutions people can actually use.

Nick also built HRMLESS’s SOC 2 compliance program and helped develop the technical foundation of its Trust Center, connecting security controls, evidence, AI governance, and regulatory requirements. His background gives him a perspective from both sides: building and operating technical systems, then proving those systems are secure, responsible, and working as intended.
